Meet Your Chefs
Meet the chef owners of SuAy, Ayesha & Suzy. They started working together 13 years ago, when the began to learn their trade. Since going separate ways they eventually came together two years ago to launch ‘Shefs’ their female chef showcase in the back room at ‘The Merchant of Relish’. When the shop closed they started looking for a long term home and eventually found one at ‘The Bandstand Bakery’, thanks to Melanie.
Ayesha Harris
Ayesha has worked with many of the best local chefs and honed her trade training and managing some of the best kitchens. That’s where she fine tuned her love of handmade pasta and Mediterranean cooking.
Suzy Kirkwood
Suzy has travelled extensively and particularly loves south east Asia, especially Malaysian, Thai and Indonesian food.Closer to home she loves pastry and thinks the pie is the food of the gods.
